What we collect

When you place a preorder we collect your name, email address, and the details of your order (items, quantities, notes, and totals). Restaurant staff accounts additionally store a name, email address, and a securely hashed password.

Payments

Card and digital-wallet payments are processed by Square. Your card number is entered into fields hosted by Square and never reaches or is stored on OrderBefore’s systems. We keep only a payment reference so we can issue refunds. Square’s handling of your payment information is described in Square’s privacy policy.

How we use your information

• To prepare and fulfill your preorder and issue your voucher.
• To email your order confirmation and any refund receipts.
• To process refunds you or the restaurant request.

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising. Order details are shared with the restaurant fulfilling your event so they can prepare and hand off your food.

Cookies

Guests can order without an account and without tracking cookies. Restaurant staff sign-in uses a single session cookie required for the dashboard to work.

Where your data lives

OrderBefore runs on Cloudflare infrastructure in the United States. Order records are retained so the restaurant and guests keep an accurate history of purchases and refunds.

Your choices

You can review your order and request an eligible refund from the manage link in your confirmation email. To ask about or request deletion of your information, contact us at orders@orderbefore.app.
